Tools Needed:
Torque wrench (implant brand specific)
Angled screw channel (ASC) driver (implant brand specific)
Colored Teflon tape: for easy identification of ASC screws
Instructions:
Engage ASC Driver: Attach ASC driver to the ASC screw.
Torque the Restoration: Screw down and torque the restoration to the manufacturer's suggested value (implant brand specific). [Typically 30 N-cm for compatible ASC]
Use Colored Teflon Tape: Insert colored Teflon tape into the screw channel before sealing the access hole with composite. This prevents composite from covering the screw head.
